Johanna Swift is an experienced Nurse Midwife currently employed at SaVida Health since May 2022. Prior to this role, Johanna served as a Registered Nurse at Recovery Centers of America from February 2021 to January 2023 and pursued certification as a Licensed Addictions Counselor at UMass Boston College of Advancing and Professional Studies between September 2020 and November 2021. Earlier experience includes working as a Certified Nurse Midwife at Mount Auburn Hospital from January 2007 to March 2009, where care was provided to prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, with a focus on Spanish-speaking immigrant families. Johanna also worked as an OB/Gyn Case Manager at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution - Framingham from January 2004 to March 2007 and as a Women’s Health Clinician at Planned Parenthood Golden Gate from June 1999 to December 2001, serving diverse populations in under-served urban areas. Educational qualifications include a BSN and MSN in Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Latin American Studies from Lafayette College.
