Romita Banerjee is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer at Save® since February 2022, where notable contributions include launching the "Market Savings" product and developing a backend framework for automating banking operations, achieving significant cost savings and enhanced system efficiency. Romita's prior experience includes serving as a Research Associate at the DAIS Lab at the University of Houston, presenting a significant research paper at an IEEE conference and publishing in the International Journal of Scientific Computing. Teaching roles at both the University of Houston and Florida State University involved instructing various computer science courses. Earlier positions include Software Developer at the National Informatics Center, where Romita contributed to e-governance solutions, and Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, focusing on integrating applications with SAP-GRC. Romita holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Florida State University and another Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women.
