Ethan Simmons is a Facility Engineer at BASF since July 2022, with extensive experience in nuclear operations and chemical engineering. Since August 2016, Ethan has served as Shift Operations Manager at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, overseeing a core management team and more than 30 operations personnel to support the nation’s non-proliferation efforts. Previous roles include Shift Technical Process Engineer and Process Engineer, where Ethan provided technical assistance, managed chemical procurement, and collaborated with maintenance teams to resolve operational issues. Prior experience includes a Process Engineer position at Bridgestone Americas, focusing on continuous improvement and quality analysis, as well as research assistance at North Carolina State University. Ethan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an Associate of Science from Surry Community College.
