Katie J. Heroux is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of nuclear security and advanced technologies. Since September 2010, Katie has served as Portfolio Manager at Savannah River National Laboratory, providing strategic leadership for the NNSA Stockpile Research, Technology, & Engineering Portfolio. Previous positions at SRNL include Sr Fellow Program Manager, where Katie successfully managed the Advanced Manufacturing Development programs, and Principal Scientist, focusing on hydrogen processing and storage technologies. Additionally, Katie contributed as a Senior Editor and Contributing Author for American Journal Experts from 2013 to 2021, specializing in editing scientific manuscripts across various scientific fields. Katie earned a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from UC San Diego and a BS in Chemistry from the University of New Hampshire.
