Richard Ashton is a seasoned executive search professional with extensive experience in financial leadership roles. Currently a Partner and Head of Financial Officers and Professional Services at Savannah Group since April 2017, Richard specializes in C-Suite and Director level appointments, focusing on enhancing client and candidate experiences. Prior to this, Richard held leadership positions at The Miles Partnership as Partner in the CFO Practice, and at Blackwood as a Consultant for Board and CFO services. Richard's career began at Spencer Stuart as a Senior Associate, followed by a role at KPMG Corporate Finance in Lead Advisory M&A, progressing from Trainee to Assistant Manager. Richard's academic background includes a BCom/Fr in Economics, Law, Financial Markets, and French from the University of Birmingham, along with ongoing studies at ICAEW for the ACA qualification.
