Denise Pilar is currently a Professor of UX Research at the Savannah College of Art and Design since December 2022, with extensive experience in the field of UX research and design. As a co-publisher and co-author of the first Brazilian book on UX Research, Denise has contributed to the landscape of UX in Brazil by integrating scientific methodology with practical corporate applications. Previous roles include UX Researcher/Strategist at Nubank and various positions at SAP Labs from 2007 to 2022, where Denise established a local User Experience team and developed tailored working models for products. Additionally, Denise has academic experience as a professor at UniRitter, teaching advanced courses in UX, and pursued a PhD in Cognitive Psychology focused on user experience and memory at PontifÃcia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.
