Ahmed al-Dowaihi

Ahmed Al-Dowaihi has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and organizational development. Currently, they hold the role of Secretary of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee at Saudi Tabreed District Cooling Company. Ahmed also serves as the Director of Human Capital Development and previously held the position of Head of Human Capital Development at the same company.

Prior to joining Saudi Tabreed, Ahmed worked at Marafiq where they served as the Manager of the Organizational Development Project from 2017 to 2020. Before that, they were seconded to the Marafiq - Saur Operation and Maintenance Company (MaSa) where they held the position of Manager of Human Resources and later as a Supervisor in Payroll & Benefits. Ahmed started their career at Marafiq as a Payroll and Benefits Specialist in 2008.

Ahmed's experience spans over a decade, showing their expertise and versatility in the field of human resources and organizational development.

Ahmed Al-Dowaihi completed their education at two institutions. From 2003 to 2006, they attended King Faisal University and obtained a diploma in Management Information Systems (MIS) and Computer Science. Later, from 2011 to 2014, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the same university.

Additionally, Ahmed Al-Dowaihi has obtained several certifications related to HR and personal branding. In December 2019, they received a certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). In November 2017, they obtained the SHRM- SCP certification, and in August 2014, they obtained the HRBP certification, both from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Ahmed also completed various courses, including Crisis Communication for HR and Learning Personal Branding, offered by LinkedIn. Recently, in September 2022, they attended the HR Summit & Expo organized by Informa and obtained a certification.
