Ricardo de Castro is a seasoned refinery professional with extensive experience in operations and training within the petrochemical industry. Currently serving as a Refinery Training Instructor at Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company-Luberef since April 2017, responsibilities include the training, evaluation, and certification of refinery operators, as well as coordinating in-house vendor training. Prior roles include DCS Operator, where operation and monitoring of sophisticated refinery units were key duties, and DCS Panel Engineer at JG Summit Olefins Corporation, overseeing a large ethylene and propylene extraction plant. Previous experience also includes roles as a Field Technician and On-the-Job Trainee at Kedica Philippines Corporation. Ricardo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Batangas State University and a high school diploma from the University of Batangas.
