Teong Hng has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Teong is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Satori Research, a digital asset platform that provides investment solutions to investors. Prior to this, they worked at SBI Alpha Trading as a Managing Director and also served as the COO of SBI VCTrade Co., Ltd. Teong held director and board member positions at both SBI Alpha Trading (Japan) and Global Alpha Trading (HK). Before joining SBI, Teong Hng worked as a Macro Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan from 2012 to 2018. Teong also has experience as a Macro Trader at Goldman Sachs from 2002 to 2011.

Teong Hng received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Regenerative Medical Engineering from The University of Tokyo. They studied in the Ushida-Furukawa Laboratory. The exact start year is not provided, but their education at the university ended in 2002.
