Marc Cherry has worked in the engineering industry since 1998. Marc began their career at Signals and Software Ltd as a DSP Software Engineer, where they developed highly optimised bit-exact implementations of ITU G. 729 and ETSI GSM standardised speech coding algorithms for Motorola (now Freescale Semiconductor) 56300 and Starcore Multi-ALU DSPs. In 2001, they joined Nortel as a Software Engineer. Marc then moved to Avaya in 2009, where they worked as a Software Engineer. In 2011, they joined Qualcomm as a Staff Engineer, and most recently, they have been a Leading DSP Engineer at SatixFy UK Ltd since 2016.
Marc Cherry attended Brunel University London from 1996 to 2000 and graduated with a BEng(Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Communications Systems).
