Daniel Haefliger

Daniel Haefliger has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Daniel is currently serving as the CEO of Sateco Group since 2022, where they oversee the overall operations and strategic direction of the organization. Prior to this, Daniel worked as the CEO of Sateco XT AG from 2020 to 2022.

Before joining Sateco, Daniel held prominent positions at Sateco Group from 2012 to 2019. During this time, they served as the COO / CTO on the Executive Board, where they successfully established and launched ISO and IATF management processes for sales support and service. Daniel also established a complete laboratory for product development and achieved annual business growth of over 15% as the Head of Sales.

Prior to their tenure at Sateco, Daniel worked at Sensirion as a Market Manager and Team Manager from 2008 to 2012. Daniel built a key account sales team for the automotive market, developed and implemented sales strategies, and managed relationships with car makers and suppliers. As a Key Account Manager, they acquired new clients and generated steady business in excess of $10 million per year.

Before joining Sensirion, Daniel worked as a Project Manager at HARTING from 2006 to 2008. Daniel also gained valuable research experience as an Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Denmark from 2003 to 2006, where they developed novel lab-on-a-chip microsystems and raised substantial research funds.

Daniel started their career as a Design Engineer at GE in 1998 and worked as a Research Assistant at AIST in 1997. Daniel brings a wealth of technical expertise, leadership skills, and international sales experience to their current role as the CEO of Sateco Group.

Daniel Haefliger completed their education with a Ph.D. in Micro- and Nanotechnology from ETH Zürich in 2003. Prior to that, they obtained an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich from 1994 to 2000. Daniel completed their secondary education at Kantonsschule Dübendorf from 1987 to 1994. Additionally, they attended Sprogskole, but no specific dates or degrees were provided for this institution.
