Marisa Schmidt, CPA, CA, currently serves as the Manager of Financial Reporting at Saskatchewan Government Insurance since January 2022. Prior to this role, Marisa held the position of Director of Financial Services at the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement from September 2019 to January 2022. Marisa also worked as the Manager of Financial Planning and Reporting at the Ministry of Central Services from August 2016 to September 2019, and as a Financial Consultant during that time. Additionally, Marisa served as a Manager at the Provincial Auditor of Saskatchewan from May 2012 to August 2016. Marisa Schmidt earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of Regina and completed training at the CA School of Business between 2012 and 2015.
