Richard Johnson is an experienced biopharmaceutical professional currently serving as the Vice President of Development at Saros Therapeutics since October 2021. In addition to this role, Richard has been a Principal Consultant at Biophia Consulting since January 2014, providing expert guidance on various aspects of biopharmaceutical development. Prior to these positions, Richard spent over 27 years at Baxter International Inc., where roles included Principal Scientist focusing on biocompatibility and materials development and Senior Director overseeing pre-clinical safety and R&D functions. Richard holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Duquesne University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in General Arts and Science from Penn State University.
