Lauren Halligan is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and business reporting. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce since April 2023, Lauren previously worked as a Business Reporter at The Saratogian and The Troy Record, covering business news, chamber events, and trends in Saratoga and Rensselaer Counties. Additional roles include Freelance Writer for Upstate Alliance for the Creative Economy, Business Features Writer for Clipper Magazine, and various positions at The Saint Rose Chronicle. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Journalism from The College of Saint Rose and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from SUNY Schenectady County Community College.
