Susan Fallis has a strong background in nursing and healthcare administration. Susan most recently worked as the Director of Nursing for Behavioral Health at Sarasota Memorial Health Care System starting in 2020. Prior to that, they held leadership positions at Erie County Medical Center Corporation, including Vice President and Assistant Vice President of Behavioral Health. Susan also served as the Chief Nursing Officer at the New York State Office of Mental Health for several years. Susan has experience as a Nursing Manager at Atrium Health and also worked at the New York State Department of Health and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in various nursing roles.
Susan Fallis holds a Master's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from D'Youville University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at Daemen University from 1994 to 1998. Susan'seducation journey started with an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Trocaire College, which they earned from 1990 to 1993. In addition to their degrees, they also obtained certifications in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (RN-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in May 2021 and in Nurse Executive Advanced (NEA-BC) from the same institution in May 2015.
