Katie Gallagher, MS, LCGC, serves as the Program Director and Clinical Supervisor at Sarah Lawrence College since September 2017, where involvement includes instructing courses in Clinical Pediatric Genetics and Medical Genetics, as well as supervising genetic counseling students. Previously, Katie held the position of Genetic Counselor at Invitae, specializing in pediatric and rare disease products, and as Lead Pediatric Genetic Counselor at Montefiore Health System, managing a team of genetic counselors. Additional roles include providing genetic counseling services at Boston Children's Health Physicians and offering genetics education to master's level students at Westchester Institute for Human Development. Katie completed a Pediatric Genetic Counseling Fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and recently obtained a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard Online. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Human Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science from Laurentian University.
