James Huang has a diverse work experience, beginning with an Engineering Intern (SDE) role at Microsoft in 2011. James then served as a Research Assistant at UC Berkeley College of Engineering in 2012. In 2013, they took on roles as a Full Stack Engineer at shopkick and an Engineering Contractor at Coinbase. In 2015, they became a Founding Engineer at Brilliant. Most recently, they have been the Chief Technology Officer at Sapling Intelligence since 2019.

James Huang graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
