Maclen Marvit is an accomplished engineer with a diverse background in technology and leadership. Currently, as a Principal Engineer at Cisco since March 2024, Maclen Marvit previously held the same title at JustAnswer from November 2019 to August 2023, where innovative work on an AI-based Reinforcement Learning system significantly increased company revenue. As Chief Technology Officer at SapientX, Maclen Marvit developed advanced prototypes and managed natural language processing systems. Earlier experiences include co-founding Photonic Sentry, where Maclen Marvit achieved high efficacy in mosquito control using lasers, and a technical lead role at Intellectual Ventures focusing on non-chemical pest control methods.
