Jon Rea is an experienced Software Engineer currently working at Saphyre since February 2021, with previous experience at New Classrooms where significant contributions included developing features for web applications, improving performance, and achieving high code coverage. Prior to these roles, Jon served as a Teaching Fellow at Fullstack Academy of Code, mentoring aspiring software engineers in fullstack JavaScript development. Additional experience encompasses software development as a self-employed developer, teaching English to diverse groups, and a foundational role as an assistant teacher for special needs students. Jon holds a Certificate in Computer Software Engineering from Fullstack Academy, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition from William & Mary.
