Tauhir Rakiep is an experienced architect currently working at SAOTA since August 2023. Previous roles include Candidate Architect positions at Counterspace and ohkre collective, as well as a Student Tutor at the University of Cape Town. Tauhir began a career as an Architectural Technologist at Zuckerman Sachs Architects and served as a Flight Attendant for Qatar Airways. Early experience includes a position as a Candidate Architectural Technologist at Ruben Reddy Architects. Tauhir's academic credentials comprise a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies (Honours) from the University of Cape Town, alongside a Bachelor's in Architectural Studies.
