Luis Patino is an accomplished Senior Production Engineer at Santos Ltd, with a career spanning over two decades in the oil and gas industry. Since July 2011, Luis has focused on the design and optimization of Artificial Lift Systems for unconventional and conventional fields, executing programs to enhance production rates and hydrocarbon reserves. Prior experience includes serving as Production Engineering Team Leader at PetroMonagas, where Luis aligned the engineering team with corporate goals and improved performance through effective management of well operations. Additionally, Luis has held roles at Conoco-Phillips-PDVSA, API de Venezuela, and Schlumberger, contributing to production management, technical sales, and field operations. Luis holds a BSc in Electronics Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
