Julia Martin has extensive work experience in the field of clinical research and medical affairs. Julia has held various roles and responsibilities throughout their career. Julia started their career as a Clinical Data Co-ordinator at Premier Research Group in 2000, where they worked on clinical studies in multiple therapeutic areas. Julia then joined Veterinary Laboratories Agency in 2003 as a Research Officer, primarily focusing on supporting surveillance and research in food-borne zoonoses aspects. In 2006, Julia joined INC Research as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and worked there until 2008. Julia then briefly worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Route1 Clinical in 2009 before moving to Chiltern as an Out-Sourced CRA. Julia also has experience working at Allergan as a Lead Clinical Research Associate and later, as a Principal Clinical Research Associate. Julia joined Gilead Sciences in 2015 as a Senior Clinical Trial Management Associate and worked there until 2017. Julia then worked at Chiltern as a Senior Clinical Team Leader- Late Phase from 2017 to 2019. Julia joined Covance in 2018 as a Project Leader and then moved to Santen in 2019. At Santen, they held multiple roles including Associate Director, Systems, Governance and Processes in Global Medical Affairs, Associate Director, Systems, Governance and Processes in Medical Affairs EMEA, and Associate Director Evidence Generation. Julia Martin completed their BSc in Zoology from the University of Wales, Swansea from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Charters School in Sunningdale from 1990 to 1997. Additionally, Julia has obtained certifications in Medical Device Regulations, Introduction to Clinical Research eLearning course, and Good Clinical Practice from the European Centre for Clinical Research Training (ECCRT) in 2020 and 2021.
