Daniel C. LaPenta is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Deputy General Counsel and Senior Vice President at Santander US since September 2016, progressing through various roles including Associate General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel. Prior to this tenure, Daniel was an attorney at LIBBYHOOPES, P.C. from September 2013 to September 2016, and served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Mitchell J. Sikora, Jr. at the Massachusetts Appeals Court from September 2012 to August 2013. Daniel also held the position of Judge Advocate in the US Navy from January 2007 to August 2012. Daniel earned a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from New England Law | Boston (2006) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bates College (2001). Education was preceded by attendance at Bay Shore High School (1997).
