Graham Smith is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. Since February 2018, Graham has served as the Director of Real Estate Finance at Santander UK, focusing on managing portfolios and identifying new opportunities within the Real Estate team. Graham's career at Banco Santander, which began in November 1999, includes roles as Regional Director of the Portfolio Management Team and Head of Commercial Lending, overseeing secured lending for business banking targeting SMEs. Prior to this, Graham held the position of Regional Manager at Abbey National, contributing to the establishment of Corporate and Commercial banking in the UK. Graham's experience also includes a significant tenure at Barclays, where as a Corporate Relationship Manager, Graham managed a portfolio of business customers. Academically, Graham holds a BTEC National Diploma in Banking and Finance from the City of London College and attended Ilford County High School for Boys.
