Pedro Castro e Almeida is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the banking industry, currently serving as the Regional Head of Europe at Santander since September 2023. Previously, Pedro held multiple leadership roles at Santander Portugal, including CEO, Member of the Board, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Santander Totta Seguros since 2005. Early in their career, Pedro worked in the Finance Department at Arthur Andersen from 1990 to 1992. Pedro holds degrees from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management and has furthered education with programs at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, Harvard Business School Executive Education, and INSEAD, earning an AMP.
