Amelia Stava is an experienced education specialist currently working at Santa Maria Bonita School District since August 2019. Prior to this role, Amelia served as an education specialist at Manzanita Elementary School and as a special education teacher at Nanakuli Elementary School, where responsibilities included resource and inclusion teaching for 2nd and 3rd grades, as well as serving as the Grade Level Chair for SPED. Earlier experience includes a tenure with Teach For America and a position as a Teller Operations Specialist at Bank of America. Amelia holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Concordia University-Portland, and a degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis on Primary Education and Language Arts from CSUCI.
