Meagon Fiengo has extensive experience in education and behavioral health, currently serving in a Behavioral Health role at Santa Fe County since August 2022. Prior to this, Meagon held teaching positions at Los Alamos Public Schools as an Elementary School Teacher from August 2016 to August 2021, and at Casar E. Chavez High School as a High School English Teacher from August 2014 to August 2016, where responsibilities included curriculum development and facilitating discussions on nonfiction texts. Earlier, Meagon worked as a Teacher and Reading Specialist at East Austin College Prep, focusing on Language Arts and intervention programs for students in grades 2-6. Meagon holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from New Mexico Highlands University, completed in August 2023, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Texas Tech University.
