Meilin Obinata is a multifaceted professional currently serving as a Producer at KSQD - Natural Bridges Media, where responsibilities include ideating and executing radio/podcast content and recruiting expert guests. As a Board Trustee at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History, Meilin provides strategic guidance across multiple committees. With extensive experience as a Senior College Admissions Counselor at Insight Education, Meilin has guided high school students through the college application process. Additionally, involvement in the NAACP Santa Cruz as an Executive Committee Member focuses on fundraising and developing social justice programs. Previous roles include Assistant Programmer at the Santa Cruz Film Festival and Founder/Film Programmer at the Santa Cruz Public Library, along with positions at Enlighteens Education Inc., the Aptos Youth Endowment Committee, YMCA-PG&E Teen Center, and ThinkTank Learning.
