Sara Van Dyke has a diverse background in law enforcement and behavioral health, currently serving as a Deputy Sheriff Trainee with the Santa Cruz County Sheriff Department since April 2023. Previous experience includes roles as Lead Behavioral Health Associate II and Mental Health Associate at The Camp Recovery Center, as well as a Juvenile Justice Intern with the Office of Juvenile Affairs. Sara's foundational experience includes positions in retail management and coaching, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from East Central University, complemented by studies at De Anza College.
