Vanessa Delnavaz is an experienced professional in invertebrate zoology, currently serving as the Associate Curator of Invertebrate Zoology at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and Sea Center, overseeing the Invertebrate Zoology department and managing a collection of 2.5 million invertebrate specimens. Vanessa also held the position of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Liaison.
