Gerardo Ayala is an experienced professional in the fields of health advocacy, event planning, and the arts. Currently serving as a Health Advocate at the Santa Barbara County Education Office since November 2021, Gerardo also owns Hedda Productions, an event planning company established in July 2010. Previously, Gerardo owned Hedda Design Studio from June 2019 to November 2021 and worked as an Artist Assistant and studio manager for Joan Tanner between 2002 and 2016. Additional experience includes volunteering with the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission, serving as Coordinator for the Viva el Arte de Santa Barbara concert series, and holding the position of Lead Educator at the Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum. Gerardo's educational background includes studies at UCLA Extension from 2018 to 2020 and attending Santa Barbara Community College from 1986 to 1991.
