Wataru Nakatsuka is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in business strategy and operations management, currently serving as the Senior Managing Director of Business Strategy and the CEO Office at Sanrio since June 2021. Nakatsuka also holds director positions at Sanrio Entertainment Co., Ltd. and Sanrio Southeast Asia. Prior to these roles, Nakatsuka provided independent consulting services and held key positions at Boston Consulting Group, Kokotel in Thailand as COO, and Kearney. Nakatsuka began a professional journey at Tokyo Disney Resort and has an academic background that includes dual MBAs from IE Business School and Singapore Management University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Management from Keio University.
