Mabuyi Mhlanga Pr Eng, MEng, PMP is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Project Lead at SANRAL since May 2024. Previously, Mhlanga worked as Project Executive at eThekwini Municipality from January 2012 to May 2021, managing the Integrated Public Transport Network (IPTN) program. Mhlanga held the position of Contracts Director at Sanyati Construction, overseeing the upgrade of the R102 to King Shaka International Airport, and served as Senior Structural Engineer at BKS Group (Pty) Limited, contributing to the structural design of the Moses Mabhida Stadium. Initial experience includes a role as Junior Structural Engineer at Anglo American. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Transport Studies from the University of Cape Town, a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Management from the University of South Africa, and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
