Katie Oppenheim is an accomplished leader in federal government relations, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Federal Government Relations at Sanofi since October 2017. Prior to this role, Katie held the position of Executive Director for U.S. Policy and Government Relations at Merck from August 2013 to October 2017, and also worked in federal government affairs at Eisai from December 2010 to August 2013. Katie began their career in public service as a Legislative Assistant for Senator Mike Crapo and gained early experience as an intern for Representative Dave Camp, Governor Bob Ehrlich, and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. A graduate with a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, and a B.A. in Government and Spanish from Hamilton College, Katie's diverse background in law and government has established a solid foundation for a successful career in advocacy and relations.
