Jose E. Neves is an accomplished medical executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Medical for the General Medicines Global Business Unit at Sanofi since January 2015, Jose has held various leadership roles including Head of North America Medical Affairs at Sanofi Genzyme and the US Country Medical Lead. Jose's expertise also includes positions such as Head of Medical Affairs for Sanofi Genzyme in both International & China, and Vice President and Regional Medical Officer for Latin America. Prior to Sanofi, Jose was Medical Director at AbbVie and held multiple leadership roles at AstraZeneca, including Vice-President of Global Medical Affairs for CNS, Respiratory, and Inflammation. Jose E. Neves earned a degree from USP - Universidade de São Paulo between 1987 and 1994.
