Claudia Pena Rossi currently serves as the A. Vice President of Immunology & Inflammation at Sanofi, where leadership of the clinical development team contributed to the registration of Sarilumab for Rheumatoid Arthritis since June 2016. Prior experience includes the role of Senior Medical Director and Group Head of Clinical Development at EMD Serono, Inc. from 2011 to 2014, overseeing the clinical development of Atacicept and Sprifermin in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and Osteoarthritis. Additionally, Claudia held the position of Senior Medical Director at Merck Group from 2008 to 2011, focusing on clinical development in multiple autoimmune diseases. Claudia Pena Rossi completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Immunology at the Pasteur Institute in Paris and pursued post-doctoral research in Immunology at the University of California, San Francisco.
