Ayesha Hayat has over 15 years of experience in the financial sector, currently serving as the Head of the Centre of Excellence at Sanlam since January 2008. In addition to this role, Ayesha has held multiple leadership positions at Sanlam, including Head of Regulatory and CA Training Officer, Head of Management Information Reporting, Head of Regulatory Reporting, Group Financial Accountant, and Financial Manager. Prior to joining Sanlam, Ayesha worked as an Assistant Manager at Ernst & Young from March 2004 to December 2007. Ayesha holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Finance from the University of Cape Town and a BComm Honours in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, complemented by a Matric from Wynberg Girls High School.
