Philippe Reid started their career as an Auditor at PwC in 1993 before transitioning to a Corporate Controller role at Sanimax in 1998. Over the years, they held various roles within Sanimax, including Director Business Analysis - Operations and Transport, and Director Business Development. Their responsibilities included identifying opportunities for cost reduction, global purchasing, and green house gas emissions management.

Philippe Reid completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) with a major in Accounting and minor in Finance at Concordia University from 1989 to 1992. Subsequently, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Accountancy at Concordia University in 1992-1993. Additionally, Philippe obtained a certification in Mergers and Acquisitions from Emeritus in 2023.
