David Wright began their work experience in 2002 as a Branch Manager at Prime Financial Group, where they worked until 2008. In 2008, they joined the Sanibel Captiva Community Bank as a Sr. Vice President, a role they held until present.

David Wright attended the University of Michigan from 1978 to 1982, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
