Markus Horn is a skilled research scientist currently employed at the Sanford Underground Research Facility since February 2016. Prior to this role, Markus served as an associate project scientist at UC Berkeley from April 2015 to February 2016 and as an associate research scientist at Yale University from April 2012 to March 2015. Markus began a career in research as a research associate at the University of Oxford from September 2011 to March 2012 and at Imperial College London from January 2008 to July 2011. Markus earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Elementary Particle Physics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1996 to 2007 and attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2000.
