June Apaza has extensive experience in education and outreach, having served as the Director of Education and Outreach at Sanford Underground Research Facility from April 2015 until retirement. Additionally, since October 2006, June Apaza has held the title of Director Emeritus at Black Hills State University within the Center for the Advancement of Math and Science Education.
