Tanja Eisemann is a dedicated researcher in the field of cancer research with extensive experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute since November 2018. Prior to this, Tanja held postdoctoral positions at DKFZ German Cancer Research Center from 2013 to September 2018, and contributed to research as a PhD student focused on the mucin-like glycoprotein Podoplanin in glioma. Academic foundations include a Master of Science in Cancer Genomics and Developmental Biology from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Konstanz. Tanja has engaged in various research projects throughout education, including a master thesis on epithelial-mesenchymal transition in breast cancer and studies on histone deacetylases in acute myeloid leukemia.
