Georg Vogler is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in developmental genetics, currently serving as a Research Assistant Professor and Staff Scientist at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute since September 2007. Previously, Georg completed a PhD at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, where research focused on Zinc finger homeo-domain transcription factors in Drosophila nervous system development. Additional contributions include improving genetic techniques for creating mutant cell clones in motoneurons and characterizing glia-specific enhancers.
