Derek Hayden is an experienced educator specializing in construction and decorative arts, currently serving as a T Level lecturer and curriculum team leader at Sandwell College since April 2018. Previously, Derek worked at Milton Keynes College from April 2014 to March 2018 as an OLASS lecturer focused on painting and decorating, delivering instruction to diverse learners at HMP Hewell. Additionally, Derek held a position at Manchester College from January 2010 to April 2014, where responsibilities included teaching painting and decorating and industrial cleaning at HMP Long Lartin and HMP Hewell. Ongoing professional development is pursued through a CMI Level 5 Leadership and Management degree at Sandwell College, which commenced in April 2022.
