Riccardo Picca is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in strategy and business transformation across various sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Strategy and Global Business Transformation at Sandvik since September 2020, Riccardo leads strategic initiatives within the Sandvik Machining Solutions division. Additional roles include Advisory Board Member for MIPU srl, focusing on predictive technologies and AI, and for Microsoft Intelligent Manufacturing, recognizing leaders in industrial innovation. Riccardo is also an Extended Faculty Professor at POLIMI Graduate School of Management and serves as a Senior Advisor for confidential ventures. Previous positions include Vice President at ITT Inc. and Senior Implementation Leader at McKinsey & Company, among others. Riccardo holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi and M.Sc. degrees in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering from Centrale Lyon and Politecnico di Milano, respectively.
