Karin Olofsson is a seasoned Senior R&D Engineer at Sandvik Coromant, with a focus on compaction, materials characterization, and edges & surfaces technology since September 2012. Karin has also served as a Board Member at Din Apotekare Sverige AB since August 2013, overseeing pharmacies in Stockholm. Previous leadership roles include President of Sveriges Ingenjörer Sandvik Västberga from June 2013 to October 2014 and Competence Area Leader for Edges & Surfaces Technology in both Sandvik Machining Solutions and Sandvik Tooling. Karin's extensive experience in engineering began at ITT Flygt and includes a strong academic background with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from both KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Michigan Technological University.
