Violeta Gabrijelcic currently serves as the Executive Director of Technical Portfolio and Project Management for Biosimilars at Sandoz Global Development, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this, Violeta held various senior roles within Novartis, including Executive Director for Technical Project and Portfolio Management in Biosimilars and Global Head for Technical Development Portfolio Management for Biosimilars. Violeta's extensive experience at Sandoz International GmbH involved responsibility for the development of biosimilars' finished dosage forms and overseeing significant manufacturing and development sites, along with project management functions at the Sandoz Development Center Slovenia. Violeta began a career in pharmaceuticals at Lek Pharmaceuticals, focusing on biomedicine and regulatory affairs, after an early research role at the Institute Jozef Stefan. Violeta holds a PhD and MSc in Pharmacy, as well as an Executive MBA from IEDC Business School.
