Holly Dockery has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Holly began their career as a Graduate Student Associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory in 1980. Holly then joined Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a Technical Staff Member in 1985 before transitioning to Sandia National Labs in 1990. At Sandia, they held roles such as Manager II and Senior Manager before becoming Deputy Vice President of International Homeland and Nuclear Security Programs from 2011 to 2014. In 2002, they worked at the Department of Homeland Security as a Director in the S&T Directorate. Holly later joined the Department of Homeland Security as the Director of WMD & S&T Policy from 2006 to 2009. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Director of the Global Security Program Management at Sandia National Laboratories.
Holly Dockery earned a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Texas Christian University in 1977. Holly then pursued higher education, obtaining a Master's degree and PhD in Geology from Rice University from 1977 to 1984.
