Alan G. has extensive work experience in various roles. Alan started their career as a Graphic Designer and Web Master at New Mexico Tech Performing Arts Series in 2013, where they collaborated with a team to create marketing materials and improved website performance. In 2016, they worked as a Technical Writer at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, where they drafted a style guide and fulfilled customer documentation needs. That same year, they also served as Editor In Chief at NMT Paydirt, where they managed a team and implemented website and branding materials. In 2017, Alan joined Sandia National Laboratories as a Risk Management Technical Graduate and later transitioned to the role of Web Application Software Developer Technical Graduate. Alan eventually became a Software Systems Engineer, responsible for conducting test-driven development and maintaining databases. Currently, Alan is working as a Senior Solutions Architect at Sandia National Laboratories, specializing in UX Solutions, CIO & IT Services.

Alan G. completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the UNM Anderson School of Management between 2017 and 2019. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Technical Communication (BSc) in Technical and Scientific Communication from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, which they completed from 2013 to 2017.
