Mathena Chan is a UX Designer currently contributing to the HappyEastie project at Sandbox at Northeastern, which aims to help underprivileged individuals in the East Boston community access government aid programs. Responsibilities include creating high-fidelity wireframes and designing user flows. Mathena has also served as a Brand Designer, generating graphics for social media to enhance community awareness. Previous experience includes a UI/UX Marketing Co-op at Vicor Corporation, where Mathena redesigned website features, created marketing materials, and optimized internal processes. Additionally, Mathena worked as a Marshalls Creative Marketing Co-op with The TJX Companies, focusing on digital asset design and collaboration with the creative team. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Interaction Design from Northeastern University, expected to graduate in May 2025, and a High School Diploma from Briarcliff High School.
